Lead the Way: Developing Tomorrow’s Facilities Leaders—At No Cost, With Purpose-Driven Growth

A No-Cost Investment in the Future of Facilities Leadership

The 2025 VAPPA Future Leaders of Facilities Summit is built to empower the next wave of leadership in academic facilities management. Our mission: to spark innovation, strengthen collaboration, and drive strategic progress across Virginia’s educational institutions.

Specifically designed for newly promoted supervisors and front-line employees aspiring to become leaders, this summit brings together industry experts and passionate professionals from universities, K-12 schools, and private institutions across the Commonwealth.

We’re proud to offer this experience at no cost to attendees, removing financial barriers so that participation is driven by potential—not budgets.

Participants will stay in private rooms at historic Venable Hall, nestled on the scenic campus of Hampden-Sydney College. All meals are included, allowing attendees to fully engage in sessions, workshops, and networking without distraction.

This isn’t just an event—it’s a launchpad. Each school’s participation helps build a strong, connected cohort of future FM leaders across the state.
